According to rule 29, when publishing the final result according to the merit order of the candidates, the list of alternative candidates with the number as per schedule-7 should also be published. However, if a sufficient number of candidates are not available during the publication of the list of alternative candidates, the alternative list of candidates may be published with a lesser number than that mentioned in the schedule.
